Eggs, as well know, are super rich in proteins and vitamins like vitamin A. The combination of eggs and soup sits well with any weight loss diet. So, make this energy-giving, satiating, Indian-style egg soup today to celebrate the goodness of eggs.

Step-By-Step Egg


(Serving – 2)

2 eggs

1 small-medium , finely chopped

1 small-medium tomato, finely chopped

1 tsp garlic, grated

1 tsp , chopped

Salt to taste

Black pepper powder to taste

1 tbsp white vinegar

1 tbsp cornstarch

Salt to taste

Olive oil/ghee (clarified butter) for cooking

Coriander leaves/spring onion leaves for garnishing


Step 1 – Crack the eggs in a bowl and whisk well with some salt and black pepper powder. Keep aside.

Step 2 – Heat some olive oil or ghee in a pan. Saute onion, garlic and ginger till light brown.

Step 3 – Add , salt, black pepper powder and saute till tomatoes wilt. Then add some water and bring it to a boil.

Step 4 – Add beaten eggs gradually while stirring continuously. Keep stirring till eggs scramble and cook.

Step 5 – Now mix corn flour with some water to make slurry and pour in the soup. Mix well and let the soup cook for around 5 minutes.

Step 6 – Add vinegar. If you don’t like the taste of vinegar, you can add a few drops of lemon juice instead. Mix well and turn off the gas.

Garnish with coriander leaves and have this tasty soup hot. This protein-rich egg soup will keep you warm during the weather transition and may also aid weight loss.
