Mira Kapoor’s Food Diaries On Holi Included These Delicious Gujiyas

Holi, like any other festival, is synonymous with good . And one of the traditional sweets that’s popular during Holi is gujiya. This desi sweet is made in most households during Holi, and the festival is incomplete without it. Gujiya is basically a dumpling stuffed with khoya and dry fruits. Looks like ardent foodie Mira Kapoor, too, had a fun-filled celebration with this sweet delight. She shared a photo of a box of gujiyas on Instagram Stories and made us slurp. Gujiya is also known as gughara, pedakiya, karanji, or kajjikaya in many parts of the country.

Mira Kapoor is a self-confessed foodie who loves to take her tastebuds on a ride time and again. And more often than not, she is found satiating herself with popular desi foods. Not a long time ago, she savoured drool-worthy bhel prepared with a variety of quintessential ingredients. It’s not just the snacks, Mira Kapoor also likes to binge on mouth-watering fried stuff at times. A month ago, she chomped on fluffy deep-fried pooris. However, her indulgence came with a twist. Mira tried to be a little experimental with her desi food and made colourful puris. The three brightly-hued pooris included the classic brown one, a red beetroot poori and a green-toned palak version of the same. She wrote, “Continuing the series of #NaniHouseIsTheBest. Earlier this year, Mira Kapoor was in Punjab with her husband actor Shahid Kapoor. There she enjoyed a number of treats and shared glimpses of the same on Instagram. She shared the menu of her meal, which was a four-course Punjabi meal. It read, “Mooli paratha, gajar matar, adrak chai and . She added, “Currently in heaven with fuzzy socks. Winter is the best.” For dinner, she devoured chilli paneer, honey chilli potatoes and chilli garlic noodles. She stated, “Yes, we are having a staycation.” Find out all about it here.
